TRIAL LESSON
A trial lesson is the first lesson that you take with Bevlyn.

The lesson duration is 1 hour for 1-1 or a duo (same fee).
The lesson duration for a trio is 1.5 hours (please whatsapp / email to book lesson)
Students will proceed to take the Foundational syllabus.
(Note: Bevlyn does not teach generic sing-and-dance classes for kids; the academy is open only to children from 9-years old and above as singing techniques require awareness, execution and integration of muscles.)
FOUNDATIONAL LEVEL

To kickstart their learning journey, students will:

Purchase either a 10-lesson or 4-lesson package

(Compulsory) purchase the Academy Textbook that comes with 100 short video demonstrations (one-time purchase - lifetime course). By understanding the theories through the textbook and short videos, students will get more value during their lesson time with Bevlyn, so that lesson time is not lost with Bevlyn explaining techniques from scratch.

Recommendations:

Lessons are preferably scheduled consistently not more than 2 weeks apart for accelerated mastery (students book their own time-slots from the open calendar)
Duration:
Generally, the duration to cover the foundational syllabus will be around 10 lessons (objectively - could be more if the student is not consistent and need more recap of concepts)

Students who put in practice time between lessons, and are consistent with lessons will proceed to the Intermediate syllabus faster.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Students' mastery of journey continues in the Intermediate level

Renewal of either 10-lesson or 4-lesson packages.

Students are trained to gain more singing stability and power through better body awareness, understanding and remembering of vocal techniques

Students continue to select repertoire they wish to improve, reinforcing the understanding that vocal techniques are transferable across languages and musical genres.
Recommendations:

Lessons are preferably scheduled consistently not more than 2 weeks apart for accelerated mastery (students book their own time-slots from the open calendar)
Duration:
Generally, the duration to cover the intermediate syllabus will be around 3-6 months (depends on lesson frequency, and individual's learning ability)

Students may exit at any point in time, or continue to train beyond the estimated 6 months duration to the level of mastery they are content with.
PROFESSIONAL SINGER TRAINING PROGRAMME (PSTP)
The Professional Singer Training Programme (PSTP) is for:

students who have trained with Bevlyn for at least 9 months (and subject to audition)

anyone who is considering a mid-career transit to become a professional singer (full-time or part-time)
-
anyone who does not aim to be a professional singer, but who likes the idea of being trained rigorously through repertoire selected by Bevlyn for elite mastery of their vocals cross genres (Pop, R&B, Jazz, Musicals, Rock, Rap, etc)
Duration:
Generally, the duration to cover the professional syllabus will be around 9-12 months.
Certification:
Students who successfully complete the programme and meet all graduation requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Graduation from the Academy, recognising their technical competence, artistic depth, and commitment to professional-level singing.
